Has anyone incorporated a bug hotel into a planting bed? (Thanks for the how-to build one, Lee.) Should it go near the bird bath? Or, should it stand in isolation? Thanks in advance ??

Hello Helen PD, build your “Bug Hotel” in a quiet place in your garden, preferably not in an open position with too much sun, out of the way of strong wind, and some where there is shelter from rain, underneath evergreen shrubs, under small evergreen trees, just make sure it’s got a waterproof roof, I have not seen Lee’s bug hotel, but just think about the old saying “Snug as a bug in a rug” the critters will find a place that is suitable for them. Post a picture when it’ built so we can see if it’s a B&B, 3 or 5 star, ?????️thanking you on their behalf. Bob

Here are a few examples below of a Garden Rescue transformation and the bug hotels I situated in the flower beds. You can still see them, but you can also see how they are nested.
