    Clashing plants colour fix

    Hello ?

I have a problem corner that is making my head hurt. The planting combination is not working but I can't think of a solution. I want to keep the fuschia but not sure how to plant with these bright green leaves.  I think the coreopsis has to be moved! But I thought the red alstromeria and burgundy astrantia tied in with the fuschia colours? Help!

    Hi Cosmos

Thanks for getting in touch about your clashing border!

Colour combinations in the garden can be tricky. I think that borders just a bit too hot with too much clash. It burns itself out.

Try adding some purple to the border. Switch out one of the hotter plants for a purple Salvia or Verbena. That should chill things out for you!
