    Disguise a compost bin

    Hi there!

the “wild” area with the shed and bin needs some disguising, whilst still being accessible.. low budget and the area has really horrible clay soil! Any ideas please?

    Hi Sharonspud,

Your image is difficult to ascertain perspective wise, so just a couple of "Hints" your shed, it may be five to six feet across the front, but the depth may only be three feet, is there a place where it can be turned side on, so the three foot side you can see will not be so in your face?

Your compost bin, it may seem strange but, have you thought about putting it say in the corner near your house, where the garden fence joins your house, and blend it in with a few shrubs, the reason being, you come out of your house and are immediately looking toward the rear of the garden, not slightly behind you to the left or right.

Also in your picture, another bin/container and an incinerator, you could mull over the idea of all of these items in one area to the rear of the garden, think post's and trellis!!!
