    Messy bamboo

I do hope you can help!

I have bamboo that runs along both sides of my patio as I step out into my garden. As lovely as it looks I am sick to death of the mess it leaves behind when the casing of the new leaves fall off and blow into the house.

I am looking to dig it out and replace it with something tallish (possibly 6 or 7 feet, slim so it hugs the wall/fence on the side but most importantly tidy!

Any suggestions would be greatly welcomed!

    Hello John,

I'll throw a couple of ideas into the ring, Cypress Trees, Pleached Fruit Trees, let's see what the forum members can come up with?
