Tree suggestions for a south east garden?

Looking for tree suggestions for this patch, it is SW facing but in the shade most of the time apart from the afternoon in the summer. It gets very wet and boggy over winter. There was an olive tree there that has died, I think the ground was too wet. I'm in SE England

    Hi @roseking5

Thanks for your question about suitable trees.

The reason your Olive tree probably died is that they need free draining soil with full sun. I'd look at more native trees that don't mind having wet roots, like Birch or Rowans.
